Black Spanish Radish is a very unusual member of the radish family – the skin is charcoal black but the flesh is pure white . It is a fantastic cooking vegetable, with a subtle flaour that works really well in a stew; it is also excellent grated raw, for example in a ‘slaw or to accompany our mixed salad leaves. It keeps extremely well in late winter / Spring when other root vegetables are unavailable. We sell them in bunches of approx 3.
