Pack of 5 organic cucumbers, grown in the Wye valley.
These are ridge cucumbers. They are fairly small at approx 15cm / 6* long, weighing around 200g.
We think of this as a sensible size for a cucumber – many a household fridge hides the shrunken, mouldy remains of an over-long, under-flavoured supermarket cucumber in the dark recesses of that plastic drawer at the bottom, partially wrapped in unnecessary single-use plastic; no risk with these beauties. They have a fine flavour and texture, and rich green colour.
