Nurshill Farm seem to be the only local reasonably sized supplier of free range eggs in the Forest, they are family run farm  based between Lydney and Blakeney, run on traditional mixed farm traditions with arable crops, beef cattle and 1000 chickens bred for their eggs. They have assured us that they do not buy bargain basement feedstuffs, though they cannot guarantee to be soya free. They get their feed from Crediton Milling Company who specialise in free range chickens and supply bespoke mixes to farmers based on the breed, age and particular farm conditions.
