The evergreen nutmeg tree originated in Indonesia and is grown in most tropical areas. Nutmeg is the seed of the plant, Mace its dried outer covering. When grated it adds aromatic flavour to sweet and savoury recipes, try just a sprinkle in your pumpkins.
