Description
We don’t usually sell people’s “glut” products, but these come from a long-time food hub volunteer, and we don’t have another source of local pears at the moment, and she’s giving them to us as a donation so the Food Hub will get all the money.
They are desert pears (rather than ones that need cooking), and they’ve been grown without artificial inputs but she’s not registered organic – but they won’t keep. They may only be available for a week or two.
The picture shows the ones for sale at the start of September, but as time goes by she’ll be picking from different trees so the size & shape may vary.
At the start of September, 4 pears weighed about 500g.
