Novel veg alert! Fresh tatsoi sprouts in late Winter / early Spring are one of the most delicious vegetables we know of. Tatsoi is usually harvested as an oriental salad leaf but if allowed to start to flower, it produces a long shoot with broccoli-like unopened flower buds, all of which are heavenly tender and delicate to eat raw. They can of course also be lightly steamed or – even better – stir fried for no more than a couple of minutes. We sell these in approx 120g bunches.
