After many years as essentially a domestic cook who loves catering for big events with family and friends, I recently registered my kitchen and started cooking for the Coleford Country Market. I hope over the next few months to add more recipes which I remember from my own childhood, the grassmere type gingerbread is one of these,I don’t know where my mother got the recipe, but it was always a family favourite.
