One of our three autumn/winter seasonal syrups, Chai Spiced Plum Syrup is made with plums hand picked from local gardens and this year, also from the grounds of the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel (with permission of course!).  Slowly infused with chai spices.

Delightful in mocktails, cocktails, served simply with ice or served as a hot infusion for a warming hot toddy or mock toddy.

This syrup complements lemon based mocktails (the sweetness offsetting the sour), and pairs really well with its autumnal friend, the apple. Chai Spiced Plum Syrup with mulled cider or with apple juice and soda water are both delicious!

It also works very well with our Sugar Loaf Sunsets herbal tea to create Sunset Glow – which can either be a lovely warm fireside drink on a cold day, or chilled on warm day for a refreshing ice tea.

For a little less effort, simply jazz up your Prosecco or gin with a dash of syrup. I’m also told it’s delicious on porridge and puds!

Sugar*, the juice of hand picked local plums (min. 40%), water. Slowly infused with chai spices* (cassia, cardamom and cloves).
