Lamb hearts traditionally reared in Lydney – supplied frozen We keep a small flock of Zwartbles sheep on our smallholding in Lydney, a breed we selected for their lean meat. All of our meat comes from animals born and reared in Lydney.We collected our latest batch of meat from the butcher on 7/7/16, it’s vacuum packed by the butcher and frozen as soon as we get it home. We’re particularly happy with this batch of meat – the butcher says it’s of restaurant quality and as good as it gets!
